Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for night shift staff and ensure timely disbursement.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Generate monthly financial reports and balance sheets for management review.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and inventory audits.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state financial regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Must be available to work Night Shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
