Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure timely tax filings.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures efficiently.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
