We are currently seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial health by ensuring accuracy in our ledgers and supporting our senior accounting staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, including processing invoices and payments.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and financial statements.
- Manage and organize digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Support the finance team with data entry and other administrative accounting tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- No prior bookkeeping experience required – on-the-job training provided.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong preference for Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new software.
