Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries and month-end close procedures.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Reconciliation: Perform complex bank reconciliations and intercompany account settlements.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial processes adhere to internal controls and external regulatory standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and implement automation tools.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Work Ethic: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
