Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes and account reconciliations
- Manage complex accounts payable/receivable systems with 15+ vendors
- Develop and implement process improvements for financial workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Coordinate external audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize team efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
