Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax laws.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
