Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Financial Operations: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure data integrity.
- Bookkeeping Software: Utilize QuickBooks Online and Xero to maintain general ledger accounts and ensure all entries are up to date.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and balance sheets for review.
- Payroll Administration: Assist with payroll processing and ensure tax filings are handled correctly.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize business expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Client Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their financial inquiries and document requests.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage Intacct.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot discrepancies and ensure 100% accuracy in data entry.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
