Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns, ensuring full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Conduct month-end and year-end close processes efficiently and accurately.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing detailed financial analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
