Key Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will manage the core financial functions of the organization. Your work will ensure our financial health and compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and audit schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve internal controls and financial processes.
- Utilize accounting software to track expenses and ensure data accuracy.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who brings a blend of technical expertise and soft skills to the table.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is a plus but not strictly required for this urgent hire.
- 2+ years of professional experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance laws.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
