Responsibilities
- Manage Day-to-Day Financial Operations: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are paid accurately and promptly.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor bank accounts to ensure all transactions are recorded.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial statements, general ledger entries, and reports for management review.
- Payroll Administration: Assist in processing payroll and maintaining payroll records for all employees.
- Tax Preparation: Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and support the annual audit process.
- Software Management: Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to track expenses, generate budgets, and analyze financial data.
- Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries and payment schedules.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Certifications: Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or CPA designation preferred.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
