Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounting cycle, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure all tax filings are completed accurately and on time.
- Perform bank reconciliations and month-end close procedures efficiently.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and budget analysis.
- Review and approve expense reports and vendor contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
