Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with actionable insights for executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and maintain robust internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows and compliance
- Lead tax preparation and planning initiatives for diverse client portfolios
- Implement process improvements using advanced Excel functions and accounting software
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel modeling
- Proven track record in financial reporting and compliance auditing
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Texas CPA license or actively pursuing certification
