As a Senior Accountant, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring precision in reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Conduct variance analysis to provide insights into financial performance and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close procedures to guarantee financial accuracy.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and assist department heads with forecasting.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure all documentation is organized and accessible.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA certification is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly.
