Key Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and cross-functional departments to resolve complex accounting issues.
- Audit Support: Assist external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
