Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Reconcile bank accounts and perform detailed variance analysis.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and government reporting.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend improvements to accounting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA license preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
