Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents and payroll reports.
- Process invoices, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely payments.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online/Pro, Xero, or Sage is required).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
