Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes (e.g., FINRA, SEC, CFPB) to update compliance policies
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments across financial operations
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for 50+ employees
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations with actionable corrective plans
- Prepare detailed regulatory reports for executive stakeholders and auditors
- Collaborate with legal and operations teams on compliance frameworks
- Lead remediation projects for identified control deficiencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years compliance experience in financial services or regulated industries
- Strong knowledge of California financial regulations (e.g., DBO, DFPI)
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or equivalent designation
- Proficient in compliance software (e.g., RSA Archer, LogicGate)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting
