Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for financial controls
- Collaborate with leadership on budget forecasting and financial strategy
- Manage client accounting portfolios with 15-20 active clients
- Utilize QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions for financial modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public/private accounting
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA designation
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
