Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Financial Operations: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly and yearly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis for senior management.
- Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state tax laws and ensure the company remains compliant with all regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization within the finance department to increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and manage complex data sets with high accuracy.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
