Responsibilities
- Analyze credit applications and financial statements to determine creditworthiness and risk exposure.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models to assess borrower risk profiles.
- Monitor existing accounts to identify early warning signs of delinquency or default.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for approval or denial.
- Collaborate with the underwriting and loan origination teams to streamline processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic indicators affecting credit risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or financial risk management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup) and financial modeling software.
- Deep understanding of credit risk principles, financial statement analysis, and loan structures.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex data to stakeholders.
