Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Assist customers with opening new accounts, explaining products, and completing necessary paperwork.
- Cross-sell banking products and services to meet branch sales goals.
- Maintain the cash drawer, balance daily transactions, and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
- Identify and escalate complex customer issues to branch management.
- Keep the work area organized and secure at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; prior banking experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Strong mathematical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle cash handling with 100% integrity.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new banking software quickly.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
