Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial statement analysis, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare detailed credit memos, risk assessment reports, and presentation materials for loan approval committees.
- Monitor and review existing loan portfolios to identify early warning signs of financial distress.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast borrower performance and repayment capacity.
- Collaborate with senior underwriters and relationship managers to structure and negotiate credit facilities.
- Ensure all credit analysis activities comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus).
- 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or risk management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and financial modeling software.
- Deep understanding of credit risk frameworks, lending standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to present complex data to stakeholders.
