Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of loan applications, financial statements, and business plans to determine creditworthiness.
- Assess borrower risk profiles and recommend appropriate credit limits, terms, and conditions.
- Monitor existing accounts for early warning signs of financial distress or default.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and presentations for the credit committee review.
- Collaborate with the sales and lending teams to facilitate smooth transaction closures.
- Maintain and update internal credit scoring models and databases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, commercial lending, or risk management.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
