Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial data entry.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the external audit team during year-end audits.
- Identify process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience (CPA preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
