Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns and schedules.
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to support client decision-making.
- Assist in tax planning strategies for individuals and corporations.
- Communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to IRS regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and file various tax forms and related documentation accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
- 2-5 years of experience in tax preparation or public accounting.
- CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with tax preparation software (e.g., ProSystem fx, Drake, Lacerte).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
