Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Conduct tax research and provide compliance guidance on complex tax codes
- Collaborate with senior team members on tax planning strategies for high-net-worth clients
- Utilize tax software (ProSystem, Lacerte) to ensure accurate documentation
- Represent clients during IRS audits and correspondence
- Maintain client relationships through proactive communication and tax updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience (public or corporate)
- Active CPA license or CPA candidate with exam progress
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
