Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns for accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Assist in tax planning strategies to minimize liability and maximize efficiency for clients.
- Conduct tax research to stay updated on changing tax laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding tax inquiries, deadlines, and document requests.
- Ensure all documentation and work papers are organized and filed in accordance with firm policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA or EA certification preferred; relevant coursework or experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., ProSeries, Drake, Lacerte) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
