Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and corporations with a focus on accuracy and timely compliance.
- Conduct tax research to ensure adherence to current laws and regulations, providing sound recommendations to clients.
- Communicate complex tax concepts to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
- Assist in the planning and structuring of tax-efficient financial strategies for our diverse client base.
- Collaborate with senior associates and partners to ensure project deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree (CPA) preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation, corporate tax, or public accounting is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and experience with tax software (e.g., Drake, Lacerte, CCH) is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
