Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns with precision
- Utilize ProSystem fx and Lacerte tax software for client filings
- Consult with clients on tax planning strategies and deductions
- Stay current on tax law changes through ongoing training
- Assist in IRS correspondence and audit support when needed
- Collaborate with senior tax professionals on complex cases
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical aptitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn new software quickly with minimal supervision
- Basic knowledge of tax concepts (training provided for beginners)
- Professional demeanor with client-facing experience preferred
- Valid Nevada driver's license for occasional client meetings
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
