Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank statements across multiple client accounts
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end closing procedures
- Generate financial reports including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online systems for client efficiency
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all financial transactions
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial forecasting and budget planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certification (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proven expertise in payroll processing and multi-state tax compliance
- Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and error-spotting ability
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing financial consultations
- Experience with construction or SaaS industry accounting preferred
