Responsibilities
- Analyze credit applications and financial statements to determine risk levels and credit limits.
- Prepare and maintain detailed credit reports, including risk assessments and recommendation letters.
- Monitor customer accounts for early signs of financial distress and initiate proactive collection strategies.
- Collaborate with the sales and underwriting teams to resolve complex credit issues and facilitate approvals.
- Conduct regular reviews of existing customer portfolios to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Utilize financial modeling and data analysis tools to forecast future financial performance.
- Ensure all credit decisions align with regulatory standards and internal guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or financial risk management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and financial reporting software.
- Strong understanding of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to present findings to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.
