Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive Credit Analysis: Evaluate financial statements, cash flow, and credit histories to determine the creditworthiness of applicants.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate exposure in loan portfolios.
- Prepare Reports: Generate detailed credit memos and presentations for loan committees and senior management.
- Monitor Accounts: Regularly review existing accounts for signs of delinquency or changes in financial health.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all credit activities adhere to internal policies and industry regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters and relationship managers to streamline the lending process.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in credit analysis or commercial lending.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and macros).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound judgments.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with banking regulations and financial reporting standards.
