Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individual and corporate clients
- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with current regulations
- Utilize provided tax software (Lacerte/ProSeries) for efficient processing
- Communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients and internal teams
- Collaborate with senior associates on tax planning strategies
- Review and verify accuracy of financial data and supporting documents
- Stay updated on tax law changes through provided resources
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience (CPA preferred)
- Proficiency with tax software and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Active CPA license or progress toward certification
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy
