Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state individual and corporate income tax returns.
- Conduct thorough tax research to ensure full compliance with current tax laws.
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies and year-end projections.
- Communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Utilize tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, Drake) to manage workflow and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
- CPA certification or enrollment in CPA exam is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in public accounting or tax preparation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical skills and a high level of accuracy.
