Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local individual and corporate tax returns.
- Assist senior staff with tax planning strategies and compliance research.
- Communicate effectively with clients to resolve tax inquiries and provide guidance.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure data integrity within tax software.
- Collaborate with the audit team during tax season to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. tax codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., ProSeries, Lacerte, or UltraTax).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
