Responsibilities
- Prepare and file individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with IRS regulations
- Advise clients on tax-saving strategies and financial planning
- Manage client relationships and communicate tax implications effectively
- Utilize tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSeries) for efficient processing
- Collaborate with senior staff on complex tax cases
- Maintain accurate client documentation and digital records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience (internships count!)
- Active CPA license or pursuing CPA certification
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
