Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns (1040, 1120, 1065)
- Research complex tax issues and ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication
- Assist in tax planning strategies for high-net-worth clients
- Utilize tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSystem fx) for efficient processing
- Collaborate with senior team members on audit support engagements
- Stay updated on federal and state tax law changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience (public accounting preferred)
- CPA certification or active pursuit required
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
