Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger activities and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures in a timely manner.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and support external audits.
- Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience (CPA preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
