Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial records.
- Prepare complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and intercompany transactions.
- Lead the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, optimizing cash flow and vendor relationships.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and assist with external audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team setting.
