Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Support the month-end close process by collecting and organizing financial data.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems.
- Prepare basic spreadsheets and assist in the preparation of tax returns (1099s, W-2s).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- High school diploma with relevant coursework or internship experience.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
