Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage general ledger operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing
- Conduct variance analysis between budgeted and actual financial results
- Assist with annual audits and tax preparation processes
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated experience with month-end close processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
