Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and manage month-end close procedures with precision.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and timely.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and generate detailed financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and preparation of tax documents.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any financial discrepancies immediately.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow management and budgeting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role (3+ years required).
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
