Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, verify billings, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Bank Reconciliation: Compare bank statements to internal records to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Accurately maintain general ledger entries and financial records using accounting software.
- Assist with Payroll: Support the payroll process by collecting time sheets and processing basic payroll data.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Client Support: Communicate with clients regarding invoices and account status in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We provide on-the-job training.
- Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required; familiarity with QuickBooks or Xero is a strong plus.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
