Responsibilities
- Perform accurate daily data entry and transaction recording for various client accounts.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring all invoices are processed timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Organize and maintain both physical and digital financial records and filing systems.
- Prepare and send basic invoices and customer statements.
- Support the senior accounting team with payroll assistance and reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus but not required (we will train you).
- Professional communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new financial software systems.
