Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Process payroll and ensure tax filings are accurate and submitted on time.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain the general ledger and perform monthly reconciliations.
- Assist with auditing and inventory management as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
