Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations for commercial and industrial loans
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify potential risks early
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Document credit analysis in compliance with bank standards
- Present findings to credit committees and senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and ratio calculations
- Experience with loan origination systems (e.g., FICS, Jack Henry)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
