Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex federal, state, and international tax returns
- Provide strategic tax planning and compliance consulting services
- Lead IRS audit defense and tax controversy resolutions
- Utilize advanced tax software (ProSystem fx, Lacerte, CCH) for efficient processing
- Mentor junior associates and drive process improvements
- Develop client relationships through proactive communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Advanced expertise in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation
- Strong proficiency in tax research tools (CCH, Wolters Kluwer)
- Proven track record in IRS audit representation
- Excellent analytical and client management skills
- Active Arizona CPA license required
