Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic planning advice to clients
- Manage audit support and IRS correspondence resolution
- Maintain accurate client records using ProSystem fx and Lacerte software
- Collaborate with senior partners on complex tax compliance projects
- Develop tax-saving strategies for diverse client portfolios
- Train junior associates on tax preparation protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA license preferred
- 3+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting
- Expert knowledge of IRS regulations and Nevada tax codes
- Advanced proficiency in tax software (ProSystem fx, Lacerte)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent client communication and presentation abilities
