Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and cash flow projections for commercial loan applications
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments adhering to bank policies
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting credit practices
- Train junior analysts on credit evaluation methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expertise in financial modeling and risk assessment tools
- Strong proficiency in Excel and loan origination software
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or willingness to obtain
- Deep knowledge of agricultural lending in California's Central Valley
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
