Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal/state tax returns for corporate and individual clients
- Develop strategic tax planning recommendations for high-net-worth individuals
- Lead tax compliance projects including SALT and international reporting
- Manage client relationships and serve as primary point of contact
- Research complex tax legislation and implement advisory solutions
- Mentor junior associates and drive process improvements
- Collaborate with audit and consulting teams for integrated solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Advanced knowledge of US tax code and IRS procedures
- Proficiency in tax software (Lacerte, ProSystem fx)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Active CPA license or eligible for immediate licensure
